Our Inspiration
Gud Tymes Productions was born from mentorship, creativity, and unity. As a School Counselor and Mentoring Coordinator with Buffalo Public Schools under "My Brother's Keeper," I helped Boys and Young Men of Color thrive academically and socially.
I created "MBK" and collaborated with Boys and Young Men of Color to capture our journey, inspiring the name "Gud Tymes"—reflecting joyful, empowering moments. Today, Gud Tymes Productions honors that energy, telling authentic stories that uplift communities and inspire audiences, crafting unforgettable stories that honor legacy, uplift community, and inspire generations through bold, authentic filmmaking.

Our First Music Video: "MBK"
Gud Tymes Productions' journey into filmmaking began with a passion project that aimed to inspire and uplift the Boys and Young Men of Color (BYMOC) in the Buffalo Public School District as part of the My Brother's Keeper (MBK) initiative. Our very first music video, "MBK," was created with the goal of fostering creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking among these students.
Although the video was never officially used at any level, it remains a pivotal moment in our early work, demonstrating our commitment to blending storytelling with education. The video was designed to serve as an anthem for these young men, celebrating empowerment, resilience, and the importance of mentorship and community support.
Even though the "MBK" music video was not released as planned, the project reflects Gud Tymes Productions' unique approach—creating content that connects deeply with individuals and communities, while sparking meaningful conversations. This first venture laid the groundwork for our future projects, reinforcing our belief in the power of film to drive social change and inspire others.

Signature Project: Legacy of the Ropes
Our signature project, Legacy of the Ropes: Brothers of the Ring, showcases the heart of Gud Tymes Productions — authentic storytelling rooted in culture, resilience, and legacy.
The documentary follows twin brothers Kermit and Kenny Bayless from their humble beginnings in Berkeley, California, to becoming icons in boxing. Through emotional interviews, powerful reenactments, and rich archival footage, the film tells a story of perseverance, brotherhood, and cultural impact. We create an intimate, cinematic experience that invites viewers into a journey of grit, growth, and triumph. Coming Soon!!!
Las Vegas Community Engagement
Gud Tymes Productions is deeply committed to engaging with the Las Vegas community in meaningful ways. As a School Counselor for the Clark County School District, a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern, and a Certified Problem Gambling Counselor Intern, I’ve spent years working directly with youth and families. This informs our mission: to provide a platform for underserved voices and elevate our community through storytelling.
We believe that filmmaking is a tool for change, fostering healing, resilience, and empowerment. Through initiatives like mentorship programs and collaborations with local organizations, we create opportunities for growth and expression.

Our Vision for the Future
At Gud Tymes Productions, our vision is to become a trailblazer in the film industry, using storytelling as a tool for empowerment and change. We are committed to creating films that amplify diverse, underrepresented voices and explore themes of resilience, unity, and social justice. Through our work, we aim to inspire future generations to tell their own stories.
Our legacy is about building a cultural foundation where creative expression, representation, and community impact thrive. We envision a future where Gud Tymes Productions is synonymous with innovative, impactful, and heartfelt storytelling, creating pathways for other creators to follow.
